Streamlined supply thanks to improved formulation of PROXAN\u00ae joint sealants<\/h1><\/div>

From 08.08.2022, Dortmunder Gu\u00dfasphalt GmbH & Co KG will offer its customers the A-components of the two-component joint sealants PROXAN\u00ae- KV 2 G\/ST<\/a> and PROXAN\u00ae- KV 3 G\/ST<\/a> in an improved formulation: The ingredient chlorinated paraffin (85535-85-9) is no longer used in the production.<\/p>\n

This recipe change to alternative ingredients has two decisive advantages for you:<\/p>\n

1. It is no longer necessary to label<\/strong> the above PROXAN\u00ae joint sealants as hazardous goods<\/strong>. This makes construction site logistics much easier.<\/p>\n

2. With Regulation (EU) 2021\/979 of 17 June 2021 of the European Parliament and of the Council on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction, products containing chlorinated paraffin must be listed as SHVC substances on the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern. As a consequence, a company would have to apply for an authorisation for the use of this substance in the future. By changing the formulation to alternative substances, customers of the dga Group do not have to apply for approval<\/strong>, but can order and process the PROXAN\u00ae joint sealants as before.<\/p>\n
