Plant TEWE Bauchemie
TEWE was found in 1992 on the former Teerwerk (coal tar factory) premises in Erkner, after which the company was named at the same time.
In the beginning bitumen based materials for the road construction, the civil engineering and the building construction were produced at this location. In connection with the selling of single divisions of the coal tar factory and with the land recultivation of the area, TEWE moved in 1995 to the new location in Diedersdorf near Seelow. The premises there were at first only rented but were bought in the year 1998 from the trust company.
During the years TEWE has specialized itself more and more in the recycling area, especially in the recycling of contaminated building materials. Since 1998 the company has been certified as waste management company in accordance with § 52 German recycling management and waste law. As one of the few companies in Berlin and Brandenburg TEWE BC has got the competence as well as the approval for the handling and recycling of mineral waste in the area of the special waste.
In the year 2002 dga bought the company A+B Gesellschaft für Straßenbaustoffe mbH, Hamburg, and changed the company’s name to Betriebsteil TEWE A+B.
Because of the generous place ratio at TEWE, which is unusual for the dga-Group, the Betriebsteil A+B was relocated in 2002 from Hamburg to Diedersdorf. Now the thermoplastic road marking materials are also produced on this location.
Through continuous investments in the past years new business areas have been developed. Modern production plants guarantee an economical and high quality production of bitumen based road construction products.
New buildings in the recycling area provide that also in future road construction products will be recycled professional and appropriate whereby in the end the sustainability for humans and environment is guaranteed.
