Price Adjustment Due to the Current Global Situation

Dear business partners and customers,

Persisting geopolitical tensions and the continuing war in the Middle East are currently spurring major upheavals on the world’s energy, transport and raw materials markets. Developments in the petroleum-based products sector in particular have significantly exacerbated the market situation. As such, the state of the international market is exceptionally volatile and characterised by great insecurity.
These developments have triggered an unexpectedly significant increase in our energy, transport and raw materials costs. Despite our intense efforts to buffer these impacts within the company, we are unfortunately no longer in a position to bear all of the additional costs on our own.

Under these circumstances, in order to maintain supply security and provide you with the level of service you are accustomed to we see no choice but to introduce a price increase. We also ask that you plan for the long-term, given that volume flows are currently difficult to predict.

It is a special priority for us amidst all this that these price adjustments are transparent and comprehensible for you. The additional charges only apply to those product groups that are directly affected by the current market disruptions.
The price adjustment applies for shipments starting from April 13th, 2026. Contracted volumes and project contracts are not affected by this adjustment.

In addition, we see no alternative but to introduce a diesel surcharge per delivered pallet from April 1st, 2026. This surcharge will be listed separately on the corresponding invoices.

We will of course reduce these extra charges as soon as greater calm returns to the situation on the international markets and cost structures stabilise. This will be done on the basis of current inventory stocks at the time and will in some cases will involve a delay.
