The demands placed on modern road maintenance are continuously increasing: Local authorities and road maintenance departments need cost-effective, high-performance and, at the same time, environment-friendly solutions for the rapid repair of road damage. This is exactly what is addressed by BIGUMA®- MS 100 K2 NWG.

BIGUMA®- MS 100 K2 NWG is a special bitumen concentrate with a high additive content, designed for the production of storable cold mix in hot-mixing plants. Thanks to its simple 1:1 mixing ratio with road-grade bitumen of the B50/70 or B70/100 grades, the bonding agent can be used in a flexible and cost-effective manner.

Thanks to its concentrated formulation, BIGUMA®- MS 100 K2 NWG significantly reduces transport costs and storage requirements. All the additives, supplements and plasticisers needed to produce a high-performance cold mix are already included. The only thing that is required is the addition of road-grade bitumen to achieve the desired viscosity.

The cold mix produced in this way is highly effective for repairing potholes, frost damage and larger cracks. It is characterised by excellent adhesion to almost all types of rock, a long shelf life and high frost resistance.

Another benefit: If the bonding agent content is less than 3 per cent, the cold mix produced can be classified as non-hazardous to water and thus meets high standards of environmental compatibility and sustainable road maintenance.
